Man! I didn’t really know Alex and Tori when they were in high school, but, Kristen and Alex went to Central together and were friends during that time. I got to know Alex as an adult, when I started working with Stonecrest, and working with Arbor Design Group. Alex is very hard working, very thorough and a super smart guy! He works in the family business with his step-dad and mom, Cory and Judy Lord. So it’s just been cool to get to work with him. He is wise beyond his years so every conversation I have with him he just always impresses me and I appreciate how he doesn’t sugar coat stuff.
Recently, I got to know Tori when she and Alex approached me to help them find a place to put a brewery. They have studied craft beer and it’s very much a hobby for them and I could tell something they just really enjoyed. So they want to create a microbrewery in Carrollton that is almost like a coffee shop. This project of their was even on the front page of the Times-Georgian this past week, which was really cool to see. Through this process I got to know that Tori has got a really incredible marketing skills set. She is a real go-getter and she put together this packet that just really blew me away.
On top of all this Alex and Tori are parents of teenagers. So they are constantly going to practices and games and school events and they somehow figure out how to do all of that, from my perspective, very well. I’m getting to know them more and more and I really like them a lot. I think they are good people, good parents, and good members of our community. For me, I feel like they have now also become good friends.
For these reasons and many more I would like to honor, Alex and Tori Griffin as my “Clients of the Month”.
