Caryl and Phyllis Strange
I first met Caryl and Phyllis and their three kids Amie, Matt and Michael when Caryl became the minister at Whitesburg Christian Church. It’s funny how circles overlap because later one my interns Matt Clotfelter and Amie began dating and eventually got married. Several years later Caryl and Phyllis’ ministry transitioned them to Nashville, however, even through that time we stayed in touch and remained friends.
Then not too long ago, Caryl and Phyllis moved back, they called me for a referral in Nashville and we got them connected with a really good agent up there. And then when they got back down here, I helped them buy a “for sale by owner”. Their son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Amanda also moved back around the same time and I had the opportunity to serve them in finding a new home as well.
It’s so cool to me that we just picked up where we left off. They are just great people and good friends. Caryl retired from ministry, but you really never retire from ministry, so he is working at Hightower Funeral Home now and is just serving people in time of grief and in time of need and transition. And Phyllis is working at City Station preschool. They just came right back in, plugged right back into serving people. That’s just who they are, just fantastic, kind-Hearted servants of the Lord. I am grateful to know them and get to call them friends.
For these reasons, and many more I would like to honor Caryl and Phyllis Strange as my “Clients of the Month”!
