Janice McMonigle

Janice McMongile has been a friend for a long, long time. One of my fondest thoughts about her is when she and her spouse came over and walked with Tina and I through divorce care. She is a very strong woman, not afraid of a fight but equally loves people just as hard.My kids, as well as Tina and I have some very fond memories of going over to her house and eating dinner and the kids would swim. They loved how cool her house was and would love it when she would have snacks out by the pool. And man, can she cook! Kristen still talks about how good her mashed potatoes are.She reached out to me a couple years ago wanting to sell her house on the lake and it was such an honor to help walk her through that process. Then we took the journey in helping her find a new house. It was so cool to see her and connect with her after so many years had passed and to see her still as a woman of such strong faith and principles that still guide her. She is an incredible mom and grandmother and now great grandmother. She is just a genuine, good friend. I always love that we can have such candid conversations. One particular time when I was over at her house on the lake, I asked her if we could just take a moment and pray together and we were both just squalling by the end of it. There is just a really sweet special bond that I’m not quite sure how to explain. She served me so well when she had nothing to gain from it and I just want to reciprocate that kind of care towards her and her family. There are times when this job has just a richness to it from different relationships over the years and it fills my heart unlike anything I can explain. Janice is definitely one of those people I feel that kind of joy with! For these reasons and many more I would like to honor Janice McMonigle as my “Client of the Week”!!!
