Matt and Teresa Cooke
I have known Teresa a lot longer than I have known Matt. I first met her when she was a teenager, around 14 or 15. She and her sister Jessica, were very consistent in my youth group at First Christian Church when I first started. Teresa has always had a good attitude and sweet spirit. She has always seemed to be someone that can just go with the flow. It’s been really cool getting to watch her grow up—from youth trips, to college trips, to mission trips and everything in between. She has always had a heart that is seeking the Lord.
Then she met Matt Cooke. His journey was one that had grown up in ministry. Matt has a great singing voice, a positive attitude and amazing personality. These two love birds connected and they have two really fun boys. They are both very engaged in the lives of their friends and family and they serve our church family well.
They have been great clients and they have encouraged me by sending people my way for the past several years.
I wanted to give a special shoutout to Teresa during this time as she is one of our health care workers serving on the front lines of this pandemic. She works at the OBGYN, so she is trying to keep all the Mamas, who are delivering babies, safe. She is an amazing caregiver and excellent nurse.
Matt and Teresa are both very solid, consistent Christ-followers and fantastic clients of mine. I am so thankful to call them friends for such a long time!
For these reasons and many others I would like to honor Matt and Teresa Cooke as my “Clients of the Month!”
