Sam and Julie Dickerson

The first time I heard the names, Sam and Julie Dickerson, I was in a meeting with Bryan Kirby. He was just about come out of his skin, he was so excited, because some of his best friends were moving here from Texas. He talked about how amazing they were and how they had hit it off so well while he and Sam were in medical school together.I started working with San and Julie to try and find a home here in Carrollton. It was very cool because Samantha and Bryan were very involved with that process. We ended up landing on a house that is literally across a small lake from the Kirby’s. It was refreshing to see a very good, healthy friendship between all of them that was so Biblical and godly. After they had moved here, they started attending our church. I feel like they had probably only been coming for a few weeks, maybe a couple months, but one particular Sunday I had stepped inside for a baptism. There was this young lady up there, baptizing this young student and as she was praying, I thought to myself, “Dang, that person walks with the Lord.” It was just so obvious and evident. It was Julie. I feel like that moment really showed me what kind of people both she and Sam are. They just love Jesus! They have four kids, and they are just generous in so many ways. I enjoyed getting to know them and talk with them and hope to get to know them even more in the future! I’m thankful that our town attracts people like them! They are a delight to know and just good, godly, God-honoring people that have enhanced our community just by their presence. For these reasons, and many more I would like to honor Sam and Julie Dickerson as my “Clients of the Week”!
